I Thought About Fire In The Sky,

Color her curious, color her bored, or don't color her at all and leave it monochrome. Above all else, Omoi wanted to see what Mukuro thought was so great about this fire demon. There was something hidden that Mukuro herself wasn't letting Omoi in on, but whatever. She'd go to the human world and baby sit him for as long as her attention span would let her. She didn't promise she'd last long. Trying to wrap her head around the world around her, she had ended up failing at first. The city was strange and the smell of human was so strong. She hated that she had to pretend to smell like this boring load of losers around her. They were so boring and dull; their minds took seconds to look through and that wasn't saying much for them. Even the older and so called 'wiser' humans were boring. Usually, she'd simply sigh and think to herself, Is there nothing fun these days in other realms? Is Makai the only realm with entertainment? And then she found it. The bar.
Makai had pubs and bars in it as well; usually taverns that one might stay at if they had a rare gem or enough items to trade for a night of rest. Some taverns even gave the demon protection for the night! So long as they weren't on a wanted poster. Those details aside, Ningenkai pubs were much different that those in the Makai; more like the 'best' was either littered with loud and annoying music, or they had stupid humans with stupid ideals soiling them. How... annoying. She'd look past that for now and focus on Hiei. She'd been babysitting him for about a week and he came here whenever he was done playing babysitter himself. She wondered if she could peek his interest at all. Maybe not, but it would be fun to try. A black leather mini-skirt, a pair of black heel'd boots, a red tank top, a black silk over shirt, a black jacket and a few accessories later and she looked like your typical human. Oddly enough, she looked just as human as the rest of them even in most of her demon attire. If the humans had one thing going for them though, it was their sense of fashion and lack of rags. Her body came to rest upon a table toward the right side of the middle of the room. She crossed her legs and laid her arms on the table, leaning on her elbows and letting her arms fold one beside the other on the table. "Please, somebody be entertaining." She begged as she gave a wave at the waitress. She'd been a regular that week, once a day and once a night. Her eyes focused on a few of the dancers on stage. Nothing interesting - or that she'd never seen before. So far, she'd have to improvise for her own entertainment. template made by WIZZ

Entertaining was not a word Hiei would describe his recent events to be. Mildly bearable, yes, but certainly not entertaining. After following Kurama to the human world, it didn't take him long to locate the human fetus the fox had possessed. That was seven years ago.
At first, watching over Kurama was simple. An infant did one of two things. They slept, or they ate. When the young human began to move around, that's when Hiei realized he had his work cut out for him. He was constantly stopping Kurama from hurting himself one way or the other. The human body he was in simply couldn't keep up with how fast his mind had grown. Unbeknownst to Shiori, Hiei played a guardian angel role. Perhaps he would rub all these years into the vain fox's face at a later time.
Toddler Kurama was probably the worst for Hiei. The humans had a phrase to describe that time period. Terrible twos. Hiei believed that to be the biggest understatement of his life. Once those had past, he thought it would all be simple. That is, until Kurama finally got tired of playing the perfect child. At around age five, Hiei started to notice more and more complaints from the fox. He also started to notice him acting out more. While Hiei could care less whether he acted out or not, it was bothersome to save him from a bullying adult he had smarted off to.
Now the fox was seven. Sometimes Hiei would swear to himself that if Kurama didn't grow into his demon abilities soon, he would find an honorful way to off himself. However, since such a way had yet to be discovered, he usually found himself in a bar downtown to relieve some stress. While he hated socializing with the human race, it was calming in a way to find himself child free. Kurama may have still been the same fox, but being in a child's body had a way of affecting how one acted.
And so that is where he currently found himself. Wearing a plain black tank top and black slacks, a small deviation to his normal attire, he entered the bar with one thing on his mind. One day he'll grow up. Until then, survive. He sat himself down at the bar, and waved to the bar tender for his normal drink. He wasn't a regular, coming every night, but he tried to get away once a week if Kurama would behave long enough to allow it. He watched the bartender fill his mug, all the while cursing the lack of effectiveness of the beverage. While the alcohol didn't affect him due to his fire demon blood- it always burns away before it has any effect- he still liked the mentality of relaxing with a drink. template made by WIZZ

Omoi found herself arching a brow and glancing over toward the fire demon. No, he couldn't be... but he was! It was Hiei himself in the bar. Only a few nights a month did the fire demon come this way to hang out and relieve himself of the small child he baby sat. When he did, Omoi usually let herself stay clear away from him. Her eyes fixed on him though. There was something alluring about this demon... other than his obvious attractiveness. Glad she wasn't smelling or even able to be sensed as a demon, Omoi stood from her seat and took the drink that was going to be given to Hiei from the waitress before she set it down. Omoi herself took a seat across from the fire demon after handing it to him. "You look rough." She decided to start the conversation, figuring he wouldn't start it himself. Omoi's body found itself lounging back in the chair across from him. She moved her feet to cross them up on a seat that wasn't being used. The woman was now fully reclined in front of the fire demon - cures the table for being in the way of such a beautiful pose.template made by WIZZ

Hiei eyed the drink and the 'waitress' that had given it to him. He didn't recognize her, but quickly decided she was probably just new. He took his drink, raising an eyebrow at her attempt at conversation. "Brilliant. You just described every miserable welp in this building."

She outright laughed. He had a very solid and good point about that. Her eyes trailed him once again - or what she could see of him at this angle - and she shrugged her shoulders. "You're a different kind of rough than the rest of them though." Eyes narrowed as she glanced him over completely. "You're like an... interesting kind of rough."
Returning from their narrowed state, she rose her own bottle of liquor to her lips and took a drink. Once it was gone, she raised a brow at him. "So what's your story?" He had to have a good one. template made by WIZZ

He shook his head at her, uninterested in her petty conversation. Taking a drink from his mug, he eyed the woman across from him. There was something about her that intrigued him, but the thought was fleeting as he stood up with his mug. "Go bother someone else." He then turned and walked over to another table, sitting himself down with his back to her.

At the mention of her going to find somebody else to bother she just frowned at him. The frown grew into a more annoyed stare as she watched him get up and walk away from her. She figured he'd be reluctant, but she would know why Mukuro was so interested in him. Mukuro picked her recruits through their consciousnesses. If the consciousness proved to be worth while or loyal, she'd keep it around. So what made this guy in any way acceptable to her tyrant? She didn't follow behind him for a while until suddenly a thought struck her mind. Perhaps she'd lie to him. He shouldn't pick up on it; she was very good at lying. Having walked around a bit without talking to anybody else - why would they be interesting, they were humans - she moved so that she was near him. Whatever surface was before him she leaned her elbows on it and arched a brow. Her wrist was limp, though the hand was holding her beverage still. It had only a few drinks left within it. "Confession time." She pleaded and before he could respond, she spoke. "I'm curious, to say the least. I've seen you in here a few times before but you never have anything pretty hooked to your arm." Her fake interest would pass, hopefully. "There a reason for that?"template made by WIZZ

Hiei glared at her. It was that annoying woman from before. Why was she being so darn persistent? Her words went in one ear and out the other. He could care less. His instinct told him to get away from her, but his thoughts traveled to going back to Kurama. They abruptly stopped there. He wasn't ready to go back on duty yet. That's when he caught the last of her question. He raised an eyebrow at her. "Perhaps I don't find them interesting."

"Oh?" She began with a smile. Leaning her chin into her hand, the blonde narrowed those bright red eyes of hers his way. "And what would make a woman interesting?" She was curious, to say the very least. Not only was she curious - yet again - about what Mukuro saw in him, but she was also curious herself about what it was this demon. This demon who was so interesting to her superior. This fire demon. He'd cause issues with his temper, she as sure of that. Maybe she was missing something.... template made by WIZZ

He smirked and turned his attention elsewhere. This foolish woman just wouldn't leave him alone. "A lack of vocal chords might do the trick."

Ha! What a typical demon male. Unlike most humans, this blonde started to laugh. She leaned back and took the last drink of her liquor before setting it down on the table. She glanced over at him and then rolled her shoulders. "Most men do adore silence, or perhaps it's that they understand action better than they do words." Either sucked in her mind, she was better with telepathic communication over all. "So I suppose I'll cut to the chase." A glare of sorts was sent around her as she glanced over at him and gave a sly smile. "Take me to a hotel?" Ah, her point would be made then. template made by WIZZ

Hiei sent a glare at her, official annoyed with her behavior. "Do not categorize me the same as the rest of these pathetic cretins. I am not here looking for a quick screw. Go away."

"Well, you're no fun." She hadn't thought him like everybody else there either, but she wouldn't let him know that less he get suspicious. He must've been one of those... 'honor code' types. Complex one at that, no doubt. A sigh escaped her as she leaned back. Following and trailing the people around her with her eyes, she let them rest on somebody who seemed entertaining. They proved otherwise when their drunken self it the floor in a horrid mess. She rolled her eyes and grunted. "Amateurs..." she followed that comment with a standing up and stretching. "Well, I'm off. Maybe another time yeah?" She quipped before making her way toward the door. She wondered if he'd notice she hadn't picked another man to 'fulfill her needs.' Who knew. He was more than likely too stressed to realize such a thing. template made by WIZZ

He eyed her as she got up and started walking. What a persistent and annoying woman. He turned his attention back to his empty mug on the table. His frown deepened as he realized that it was time to head back. Too bad he wasn't quite ready to. He let out a disgruntled sigh as his eyes wandered back to the woman leaving. What was it about her? He stood, now suspicious and all too willing to occupy himself a little longer before returning to Kurama, and followed her path out the door. He could only pray to Inari that she hadn't gone far. As a human though, he doubted it.

She hadn't gotten very far. Instead, she walked out a bit and then put her hands in her pocket awaiting a cab. While teleportation was an ability she had, it consisted of energy. On top of that, there were people around. So thus, waiting for the taxi is what she found occupying her time. That is, until she felt a familiar presence. Can't have him knowing she could sense him. So instead, she just casually gave a slow turn while bouncing in place, her hands in her pockets making it seem like she was cold. Upon seeing him, she arched a brow.
